Privacy Policy
How Aurea collects, uses and protects your personal data.
Last updated 8 August 2026
What we collect
Your email address and display name, the prompts you submit, the websites you generate, and anonymous usage analytics about how the product is used. If you sign in with Google we also receive your profile picture. That is the complete list.
Why we collect it
To provide the service: to sign you in, to generate and host your websites, to track your credit balance, and to answer your support messages. We also use aggregated, anonymised usage data to decide what to build next.
What we never do
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your prompts or generated content to train machine-learning models, and we do not allow our providers to do so either. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Where your data lives
All personal data is stored within the European Union. Generated websites are served from a global content delivery network, which caches only the public pages you have chosen to publish.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. If you delete your account, personal data is erased within 30 days and backups roll off within 90. You can export everything before you go.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days, without charge.
Sub-processors
We use a small number of providers for hosting, email delivery, payment processing and error monitoring. Each is bound by a data processing agreement, and a current list is available on request.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy we will email every account holder at least 30 days before it takes effect.
