Terms of use and sale

The rules for using Aurea and the terms that apply to purchases (credits and subscriptions). The French version prevails.

Last updated 16 September 2026Version française

1. Purpose

These terms govern the Aurea service (https://aureasites.com), published by [à compléter], which generates websites from a written description and lets you edit, publish and export them. Creating an account means accepting these terms.

2. Account

You must be at least 16, or have a guardian's consent. Information you give must be accurate.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. One account per person or organisation.

3. Credits

Generating a site uses credits (the amount is shown before you start). Credits are debited when generation starts and refunded automatically if it fails.

New accounts receive free welcome credits. Credits have no cash value and are neither transferable nor refundable outside the withdrawal right in section 6.

4. Prices and payment

Plan and credit-pack prices are shown in euros, taxes included, on the Pricing page at the time of order. Payment is by card through Stripe, or through the App Store in the iOS app.

Subscriptions (monthly or annual) renew automatically until cancelled. Any price change is notified at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.

5. Cancellation

Cancel at any time from the Billing page (or App Store settings for an iOS subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, which remains due; the account then returns to the Free plan and purchased credits stay available.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have 14 days from purchase to withdraw, without giving a reason, by writing to support@aureasites.com. Refunds are made within 14 days using the original payment method.

Because the service starts immediately, you expressly request performance before that period ends. Under French Consumer Code art. L221-28, the withdrawal right no longer covers credits already used; unused credits and the unused part of a subscription are refunded.

7. Ownership of content

The copy, layout and code of sites generated for you are yours, with commercial rights, including on the Free plan. Aurea assigns to you all rights it holds in them and keeps only what it needs to host and display them at your request.

Suggested photos come from Pexels and remain under the Pexels licence. You are responsible for making sure what you publish does not infringe anyone's rights.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use Aurea to create or host unlawful, infringing, deceptive or fraudulent content, to impersonate a person or organisation (including phishing pages), to distribute malware, or to get around the service's limits (multiple accounts to farm credits, abusive automation).

If you do, we may remove the content and suspend or close the account, after notice except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise.

9. Availability and liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. AI-written copy can contain mistakes: review it before publishing.

You are the publisher of the sites you publish; Aurea acts as their host. To the extent permitted by law, and except for gross negligence or personal injury, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.

10. Changes to these terms

Material changes are emailed at least 30 days before they take effect; you may cancel before then if you do not accept them.

11. Governing law, disputes and mediation

French law applies. Contact us first at support@aureasites.com. Consumers may then use the consumer mediator free of charge: [à compléter] ([à compléter]).

Failing an amicable solution, French courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
